Equipment Relocation

Move the equipment with a plan for restarting it.

Moving equipment changes more than its address. Utilities, floor layout, access, product flow, and upstream connections can all affect the restart. Bayvarn documents the starting condition and defines what must happen at the new location before the move begins.

Survey both locations

We review the current installation and the proposed destination. The survey records equipment dimensions, service connections, anchoring, interfaces, and receiving constraints. The customer confirms the destination utilities and the production window available for the move.

Define the responsibilities

The project scope identifies who handles disconnection, lifting, transport, mechanical assembly, electrical work, and final testing. Bayvarn can coordinate specialist contractors where included. Each responsibility appears in the schedule so the team does not discover an unassigned task during the shutdown.

Preserve the setup

Before removal, the team records the available programs, settings, reference positions, and equipment condition. Components and connections are identified for reassembly. Any pre-existing fault or damage appears in the starting record so the recommissioning work has a clear baseline.

Restart in stages

After installation, the team checks utilities and connections, completes controlled motion and sequence checks, and runs representative material. Acceptance compares the relocated system with the agreed operating requirements. Changes required by the new layout are tested as changes, rather than assumed to behave like the original installation.

Close the project

The customer receives updated installation records and the result of the final test. Open items have a named owner and completion step. If the destination is not ready, the project manager identifies the dependency and the effect on restart timing before the crew commits to the next stage.
